La Belle Époque for Historic Estate | Switzerland
Restoring 18th century grandeur with modern craftsmanship
We have created a stunning Belle Époque inspired interior over a two-year journey for a historic 18th century estate in Switzerland.
Preeminent for our bespoke designs and quality craftsmanship for the world’s most exceptional homes, Artichoke conceived and made a number of extraordinary rooms for our private client’s lakeside home.
Alongside the signature rooms of The Grand Study, The Family Kitchen and The Chef’s Kitchen, Artichoke designed and made a third kitchen and and all architectural joinery to create a cohesive and historically authentic visual rhythm throughout the house.
A signature approach to designing timeless homes
The client sought the finest designers and craftspeople to restore the estate to its original lustre. Artichoke was commissioned due to the respect for heritage combined with highly sensitive integration of state-of-the-art technology to support modern living. Like so many of Artichoke’s projects, we were tasked to create spaces that look and feel like they are part of the original fabric of the building, making history that will remain for generations.
